Mr. Day is now in his 19th year with the Richland School District. Mr. Day currently teaches Math and Social Studies. Josh graduated from Ferndale Area High School, and then attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from UPJ, he attended a year of graduate school at Marshall University.
Upon returning to the area, Josh began his teaching career as a long-term substitute here at R.E.S! The following year, Mr. Day was hired as a 4th grade teacher at Ferndale Elementary. After one year at his alma mater, Josh came back to Richland when he hired as a 5th grade teacher. Mr. Day has spent all of his years here at RES in the 5th grade.
Mr. Day also works for the district as the head coach of the Rams 7th Grade Football team. Mr. Day also serves as the head coach for the Varsity Baseball team here at Richland. He spends a lot of his free time hanging out with his family and rooting on his college alma mater, "dear old Pittsburgh!"

Josh currently resides in Johnstown with his wife, Brieanna, and two sons, Colsen & Treyden.
