I am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade at Richland Elementary School. As a proud Richland graduate, it is such a pleasure to be educating children in the same building where I was once a student myself! I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2002. In 2003, I began my career here at Richland, which makes this my twenty-first year teaching 3rd grade. I also completed my Masters Degree in Education through Saint Francis University in 2008.
Third grade is a very exciting, yet challenging academic year. I will do my best to provide your child with a nurturing environment in which to learn many new and interesting things. I strongly believe education is a journey which requires not only a dedicated teacher and determined student, but also parental support.
