The Richland School District recognizes that the pace of change in today’s world places increasing and more complex demands on students and schools. In response, our district is committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where all children can thrive as active learners. Every student participates in a high-quality instructional program designed to meet their diverse needs.

Our dedicated and highly qualified teaching staff work tirelessly to ensure the success of all students, addressing not only their academic needs but also their social and emotional development.

Students at the Richland School District consistently excel in academics, the arts, and athletics. I am extremely proud of their remarkable achievements across all extracurricular and academic activities.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for entrusting us with the care and education of your children!

About Mr. Regan:

I have lived my entire life in Johnstown. After graduating from Bishop McCort High School in 2000, I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ), where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Education and History in 2005. I began my teaching career at Bishop McCort High School, where I taught for two years. In July 2007, I joined the Richland School District as a Social Studies Teacher.

In the fall of 2014, I was promoted to High School Assistant Principal, and I am now entering my eighth year as Principal at Richland High School. I hold a Master of Education degree from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, and earned my Principal Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, I completed the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility Program at St. Francis University.

In addition to my educational career, I have coached football for the past twenty-five years at both Bishop McCort and the Richland School District.

I have lived in the Richland School District for the past twenty years with my wife, Megan, who is a teacher at Central Cambria. We are proud parents of three children: Jacob, Joshua, and Kendyl.
