About Me

Hello! My name is Laura Heming, and I am the district's Speech Language Pathologist. I provide speech therapy services to students in grades K-12. I have ten years experience providing speech and language services in the school setting.

I earned my Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May 2014, and immediately began my career as a school-based clinician in August 2014. Additionally, I have earned and maintained ASHA certification and my license to practice speech language pathology in the state of Pennsylvania. I have always loved working within the school setting and supporting my students as they reach their goals and build confidence. I strive to make each one of my therapy sessions engaging, fun, and supportive as my students work to build the speech and language skills they need to succeed.

I live just outside of New Florence, where my husband and I have a small "hobby farm" where we raise mini donkeys and a variety of other animals. I am also a mom of three wonderful boys - Colton, McCoy, and Waylon. In my free time, I love to go boating, fish, and spend time with my family.
