PA Department Of Health Mask Order - Richland School District
Good Morning,
On Thursday, May 13th, Pennsylvania Department of Health Acting Secretary Alison Beam announced that the commonwealth’s mask order now reflects the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announcement earlier in the day that vaccinated people can remove their masks in most public settings. However, the announcement is unclear how this information impacts students and staff within Pennsylvania schools. Until further guidance is delivered from the PA Department of Education and/or the PA Department of Health, masks are still required at Richland School District for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals.
We are truly sorry that we are not able to provide any other information this morning. Hopefully, we will have an update later in the day regarding this information.
