The Howard M. Picking Award was established by the Johnstown Savings Bank in 1973 to honor one of the original members of the Pitt-Johnstown Advisory Board and to recognize top seniors in the field of Business. Tulsi Shrivastava is one of two recipients this year.
Tulsi is a double major in Actuarial Mathematics and Information Systems. She has been inducted into Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society (for which she serves as treasurer) and Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society for Business students. She completed a Marketing internship with CamTran and serves as a peer tutor for math and public speaking. She is a member of the International Peer Mentoring Program, Culture Shock Club, and the South Asian Culture Club. She recently led a team that produced and submitted an entry into a national community bank competition that will be extremely competitive. She intends to pursue a career in data analytics, operations research, and software development.
